- Fridays: “Greenbelt BW Parkway Pedestrian Overpass Sign Wave” from 3:30 pm until 5:30 pm every Friday (if no rain) at the Spellman Pedestrian Overpass. From Ridge Road, go east on Gardenway for parking, and walk past the playground to the overpass. Flags and big-letter messages are provided to cheerfully encourage Parkway motorists’ awareness. (To minimize driver distraction, extra signage is discouraged)
