Join the Zoom Call on Monday the 24th at 7:00 for information. Otherwise canvassing will happen March 29th – Orientation: 10:00 am and 10:30 am Canvass. Meet up location TBD | Spread the word! Plan for the rally: Post on social media about the rally, recruit friends, make your sign, and pick a buddy for the day of the protest. Day-Of: Travel with a group via Metro, meet at Hyattsville Crossing station at 10:45. We’ll board the train promptly at 11. Make sure you are in touch with a buddy, as the large group won’t be able to stay together. | Call your members of Congress—and don’t stop at one call. Demand that they publicly commit to blocking any attempt to defund, weaken, or eliminate the Department of Education. If they hedge, call them again. If they say they’re “concerned,” tell them concern isn’t enough—they need to fight. See next bullet for how! |
