Democracy Fest 2.0
Election Edition
August 29, 2-5PM @ Maryland Meadworks in Hyattsville
Concerned about the Midterms?
Do something about it at Democracy Fest 2.0.
Visit our Action Stations to protect your vote, help others vote, and get out the vote. Live music, buttons, jewelry-making, postcarding!
We know that Trump and his cronies are plotting to undermine our elections in 2026. But “We the People” are far from powerless. If we start early and work together, we can be a tremendous force to ensure that every eligible voter is able to cast a ballot, that those ballots are counted, and that the election results are honored. Join your neighbors at Democracy Fest to find out how – and take immediate action, right on the spot!

What if democracy felt less like a duty and more like a party?
Democracy Fest is where action meets community.
Democracy Fest is a recurring gathering that turns civic engagement into something you’ll actually want to show up for.
Here’s the deal:
No lectures. No speeches. Just real organizations, real actions, and real ways to push back against authoritarianism. Visit action stations and meet different organizations in our area working to save our democracy.
Live music keeps the energy up. Neighbors keep you grounded. Community keeps you coming back.
Democracy isn’t a spectator sport.
It’s time to get off the sidelines and into the game because our rights, our neighbors, and our future are worth showing up for.
Show up. Take action. Repeat. (And don’t forget to donate if you can!)
